CME CREDITS
We are pleased to inform you that the EAACI will offer Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits for the Congress. The aim of a CME system is to assure a high level of theoretic and clinical competences throughout the working life of medical specialists. The EAACI CME Accreditation Committee guarantees that the CME programmes are of a high scientific and educational standard in agreement with the European and American CME systems.
There is currently no harmonized CME system in Europe. The EAACI CME Accreditation Committee has applied to the European Accreditation Council for CME (EACCME) for the recognition of European CME credits. EACCME Credits will be available to US Doctors attending the EAACI 2010, due to a reciprocal agreement signed by the American Medical Association (AMA) and the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS). Each medical specialist should claim the recognition of the EAACI/EACCME Credits to his/her own CME National Authority.
The EAACI Congress is designated for a maximum of 24 hours of European external CME credits. Each medical specialist should claim only those hours that he/she actually spent in the educational activity.
Division of CME Credits for the Congress in General
6/6 Sunday: Full day 6 EAACI/EACCME credits
7/6 Monday: Full day 6 EAACI/EACCME credits
8/6 Tuesday: Full day 6 EAACI/EACCME credits
9/6 Wednesday: Half day 3 EAACI/EACCME credits
Additional CME Credits available

Bar codes on the congress badges will be used to record the CME credits. If you wish to receive CME
credits then your badge must be scanned. Credits cannot be allocated after the Congress.
In order to obtain the 21 CME credits for participation at the Congress, you are kindly requested to have your badge scanned at the main CME desk in the Registration Hall. Please note that you must have your badge scanned each day to receive the maximum amount of credits. Registration of CME credits can be done during the Congress hours, and will be possible from Sunday 6th to Wednesday 9th June. However for the Post Graduate Courses on Saturday the badges will be scanned only at the entrance hall to the sessions. You will also be able to have your General CME credits registered at the EAACI stand each day.
More information and instructions on how to apply for CME credits will be included in the congress bag.
AMA recognised CME credits
Credits will be available to US Doctors attending all EAACI events, due to a reciprocal agreement of mutual recognition of continuing medical education (CME) credit signed by American Medical Association (AMA) and European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS).
